Club Projects

Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education grant for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Our club chapter provides a $1000.00 scholarship to a woman who has met criteria of the scholarship application and is selected by a series of judges that serve as Soroptimist members. In this project we meet on a monthly basis with residents of Ashley House, a local non-profit foster home for girls. Each month we host a variety of topics including interview skills, confidence/self-esteem, relaxation techniques, "how to get hired" workshops, and more! • Annual $1500 Lollar scholarship provided to a high school graduate
